STEP 2:
We Build Your Space
After your order is confirmed, a local craftsman gets to work using your order plans.
Our sheds and rooms are built offsite and delivered fully assembled. Metro Sheds can be built onsite for an additional fee.
Every shed is built with care and precision by skilled hands.
STEP 3:
You Prep Your Area
While we build your shed, it’s your job to prep the site. A level gravel or dirt pad ensures a smooth delivery and helps prevent shifting over time. (We also sell site prep services)(See site prep guide below for details)
For Sheds with Wood Floors:
Use 4–6 inches of road base gravel
Pad must be level and 1 ft larger than the shed on all sides For example: A 10x12 shed needs a 12x14 pad
For Floorless Structures (Animal Shelters):
Ground must be level
Gravel pads should also be 1 ft larger on all sides
Note: If leveling is needed at delivery, extra charges apply unless site prep was completed by Outpouring Space
STEP 4:
We Deliver Your Space
Delivery day is here! We’ll bring your fully built shed/room/shelter and place it on your prepared pad.
*for any Metro sheds on site construction, your shed panels will be built off site and put together at your location.
To Ensure Smooth Delivery:
We need 2 ft of extra width and 16 ft of vertical clearance
The site must be clear and accessible
If access is limited, we can use a crane for an added fee.
Once it’s set, your new space is ready to enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to prep the site myself?
Either you as the customer can take care of having a level gravel pad installed or we as Outpouring Space also offer a site prep service where we take care of everything
Can someone come look at my property before I order?
Absolutely! That’s exactly what our free virtual site visit is for. We’ll do a video call, and you can show us your site to get expert advice.
What happens if my pad isn’t level when the shed is delivered?
If the pad is out of level and you want your shed to be leveled, additional charges will apply (Unless site prep was done by Outpouring Space) That’s why we recommend following the site prep instructions carefully.
Can I order a shed without the consultation?
Yes! You can order online anytime. The consultation is optional but helpful if you’re unsure about sizing, placement, or features.
How long does the whole process take?
Lead times vary based on your location and the type of shed, but we’ll give you an estimated timeline when you place your order.
What if I change my mind after my shed is delivered?
Enter our Love It or Return It policy! If you are not completely satisfied with your building, you can return most Outpouring Space buildings for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
Do I need a permit?
We suggest you check with your local building department. We’ve found that many counties don’t require a permit for anything under 120 or 200 sq ft. If you do need a permit, we can supply you with the required drawings for an additional fee.
Sometimes a permitting office will require an engineered drawing. We can supply the engineered drawing for an additional fee.
What kind of material do you use that is in contact with the ground?
We use premium pressure-treated runners that are treated for water, bugs and mites.
Do all your buildings come painted?
Yes – all of our buildings are painted with high quality paint that has a limited lifetime warranty. You can choose your colors when ordering your space.
Do you haul away or demolish old sheds prior to bringing in a new one?
Yes. There is a Minimum Charge of $500 for this service.
How far can you deliver a building?
Delivery within a 150 mile radius from Lancaster, PA, Porum, OK, and Colorado Springs, CO is included in the price of your shed. Delivery beyond the 150 radius incurs an additional fee.
Do you offer a discount if we order multiple buildings?
Yes. We do offer a discount off of your total order if you order more than 2 buildings.
