Quality Comes Standard at Outpouring Space
Roof – 7/16” OSB Engineered Roof Sheathing with Rugged Rib Metal Panel and edging on eaves and gable. Choice of 12 Colors
Outpouring Advantage:
Longevity, Durability, Low Maintenance, Energy Efficient, Resale Value, Fire & Wind Resistant, Eco Friendly. Metal roofs not only have 25-95% recycled content but are also 100% recyclable. 40 Year Warranty
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Shorter Lifespan, More Maintenance, Less Durable, Less Wind Resistant (blows off easily), No fire resistance, No energy savings
Runners – Pressure treated that are in contact with ground. Highly recommend a level gravel pad.
Outpouring Advantage:
Runners are placed so that gravel and blocking hit all the runners. Level gravel pads and making sure all runners are blocked, ensures that the building meets engineering requirements.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some companies do not block middle runners and do not suggest a level gravel pad which results not all runners having necessary support which voids engineering requirements.
Joists – Pressure treated, 12” on center. Hurricane Clips/Screws attaching Runners to Subfloor.
Outpouring Advantage:
Joists sit on top of Runners to help with airflow and keep moisture from transferring from the ground to subfloor.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some companies set Joists right on the ground.
Subfloor – Water Resistant Engineered Subfloor.
Outpouring Advantage:
Strong enough to drive a pick-up and trailer over it. Water proof to keep moisture under the building from rotting it out
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some companies use Common OSB or plywood that is not treated and will rot out due to moisture content under the building
Framing – 2x4 lumber, 16” on center. Double Top Plates with overlapped Corners.
Outpouring Advantage:
Standard framing done to housing code compliance. Extra headroom.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some companies often frame 2’ on center. Wall height is 6’ or 7’ high. You are paying for less cubic foot of building.
Rafters – Engineered with Collar Ties (per Engineer’s specifications). Hurricane Clips/Screws at every Rafter.
Outpouring Advantage:
Fully Engineered for 45lb snow load, 115mph windspeed. Higher snow load and windspeed engineering available upon request.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some other buildings are either not engineered at all or advertised as engineered but only partially.
Siding – LP Smartside 50 year Siding (board and batton)
Outpouring Advantage:
We use skirtboard which keeps the siding 6” off the ground (a requirement for warranty on LP siding products). Use Z Channel to cover the siding splice on the gable so water stays away from the splice.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Other companies, have siding on the ground or near it which would void an LP warranty. Use a trim piece to cover up the siding splice on the gable side which can rot out over time.
Skirtboard with Vents around the bottom of the building.
Outpouring Advantage:
Skirtboard around the entire perimeter of your building with vents, to help with airflow. Helps keep varmints away from under your building.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Other buildings are open to the elements or use metal which will rust away.
Paint – Factory Finished Primer with 2 Coats Limited Lifetime Warranty Paint. Choice of 12 colors.
Outpouring Advantage:
Primer is used to create a stable base, ensuring better adhesion for your topcoat and extending the life of the paint. Seals porous surfaces.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Some leave it just primed or unpainted. Customer has an X amount of time to put on the finish coat themselves or it voids the warranty.
Ventilation – Soffit Vent the length of the building and Ridgevent the length of the building.
Outpouring Advantage:
Follows building code requirements. Cooler buildings in the heat and easier to finish the interior later if so desired.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Most other buildings have small gable vents which do not allow for maximum airflow.
Faceboard – 6”
Outpouring Advantage:
Engineered water resistant with 50 year warranty. Better proportion and curb appeal.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Most companies are not concerned about curb appeal
Trim – 6" Corner Trim and 4" Window & Door Trim
Outpouring Advantage:
Engineered water resistant with 50 year warranty. Better proportion and curb appeal.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Other buildings have different sizes, primed only, untreated wood..
Overhang – 8”
Outpouring Advantage:
Keeps water away from the building. Better proportion and curb appeal.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Other buildings use smaller sizes, unequally proportioned, easier for water to run down the walls.
Door – 5’ wide x 6'4.5" high single Fiberglass entry door with aluminum frame, threshold, sealed, and insulated with keyed deadbolt and latch.
Outpouring Advantage:
No warping or twisting. No mice. No Dust inside your building. Easier to finish interior of shed later if desired. (Doors have hidden hinges and a latch and deadbolt, unlike traditional sheds that have hinges and latches that you can take screws out from the outside)
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Wooden doors warp and twist easily. No deadbolt. No insulation. No aluminum frame or threshold.
Transom Door Window – 23” x 10” vinyl windows with double pane glass.
Outpouring Advantage:
Provides extra light and ambiance. Good curb appeal while still keeping the door secured.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Other buildings might not even have any door windows. Aluminum windows. Single pane glass.
True to Size Buildings
Outpouring Advantage:
All of our buildings are true to the advertised size. If it’s a 10×12 building, you will have a building that is 10’ wide and 12′ long which equals more cubic feet of storage.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Industry standards are 4” to 8” less on the width of the building than is advertised. You end up paying the same for less square footage.
Galvenized ring shank nails used for all siding and trim.
Outpouring Advantage:
Galvanized ring shanks nails are used for all siding and trim with the nail holes flush and/or puttied for a smooth seamless finish.
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Most buildings look like a machine gun was taken to the shed. Look at the nail holes. Water will sit in the nail holes and rot out the siding eventually
Increased Headroom
Outpouring Advantage:
10′ wide Buildings – Wall Height = 7’4”. Ceiling Height = 8’10”. Peak Height (top of subfloor to peak) = 10’3”. Total Height 11’2″
12′ wide Buildings – Wall Height = 7’4″. Ceiling Height -= 9’5″. Peak Height (top of subfloor to peak) = 10’10”. Total Height 11’8″
Standard Industry Disadvantage:
Most buildings are 6′ or 7′ high walls with collar ties too low for upper storage and walking.

Payment Options
Most shed companies push RTO because it benefits them, not the customer. It often means sky-high payments, the risk of repossession, and a shed you don’t actually own or control. No modifications, no moving it if you move—because it’s not really yours.
At Outpouring Space, we do things differently. In addition to cash payments (check, card, and ACH) we offer:
- Financing with lower interest and manageable monthly payments
- No risk of repossession—your shed is yours from day one
- A soft credit check for approval (won’t affect your score)
- A chance to build your credit once the loan starts
- Fully portable sheds that you can easily relocate
Our sheds are built to last, and we believe your payment plan should work for you, not against you.
