Customer agrees to provide site prep (unless site prep has been purchased). While we build your building, it’s your job to prep the site. A level gravel or dirt pad ensures a smooth delivery and helps prevent shifting over time.

For Sheds with Wood Floors:

• Use 4–6 inches of road base gravel
• Pad must be level and 1 ft larger than the building on all sides

For example: A 10×12 shed needs a 12×14 pad

For Floorless Structures (Animal Shelters):

• Ground must be level
• Gravel pads should also be 1 ft larger on all sides

Note: If leveling is needed at delivery, extra charges apply unless Outpouring Space Provided the Site Prep.

Deliver Fully Assembled

• Delivery day is here! We’ll bring your fully built building and place it on your prepared pad. (Note: if we cannot deliver fully assembled then a metro shed will need to be ordered or crane services for a additional fee

• We need 2 ft of extra width and 16 ft of vertical clearance
• The site must be clear and accessible

 

Purchased Site Preparations Instructions:

• STONE FOUNDATION FEATURES INCLUDE:
  Foundation Size is From Outside of Perimeter.
  Excavation and Leveling of the Site.
  Pressure Treated 4×6 Perimeter w/ ½”x 24″ Rebar Stakes Through 4x6s to Maintain Stability.
  Top of 4x6s Will be Set Approx. 1″ Above Ground Level Where the Structures Entrance Door is Located.
  4″ to 6″ of  3/4″ Clean Stone Leveled And Compacted.
  Geotextile Woven Fabric Will Separate the Stone From The Ground, This Will Help For Faster Drainage and Will Give The Foundation More Stability, It Also Prevents Weeds From Growing Around The Structure.
  The Stone Foundation is Not Only a Foundation But is Also a Drainage Bed to Prevent Moisture From Rotting The Sides and The Floor of Your Structure, It Will Prevent Uneven Settling and Extend The Lifetime Of Your Structure.

 

• NOTE ON PRICE:
  Price is dependent upon site being within 8″ of level, if pad is more than 8” off level additional charges may apply by site crew on day of work being done.
  Additional charge may also apply if we need to dig through rock, stumps or roots.

• Pad Between: 8″ to 13″ Off Level, Add 30%
  Pad Between: 14″ to 19″ Off Level, Add 40%
  Pad Between: 20″ to 25″ Off Level, Add 50%

• NOTE:
  All Dirt is Intended to Use Around Foundation, If Dirt Needs Hauled Out Additional Charge Will Apply.

 

• DAMAGE WAVIER:
  Customer is Required to Ensure Equipment Has Access to Site, Any Damage That May Occur to Property, Tree or Shrubbery Roots, Underground Wires and Water Pipes is Customers Responsibility. (Call your local dig number to locate wires)

 

Permits

The customer is responsible to obtain any and all permitting. Outpouring Space can provide necessary drawings for an additional charge to obtain permits, we can also provide engineered drawings for an additional charge if required.
